Transportation services operated by unlicensed foreign drivers, including some Chinese nationals, are illegal in Japan. In the event of an accident,
their vehicles may not be covered by insurance, which could result in customers having to pay medical expenses themselves.
Currently, Japanese police are enforcing strict regulations on such drivers. If a driver is apprehended during your trip, they will be arrested, and the journey will be immediately canceled.
